GETTING STARTED

Here is how to get started:

To get started at Crossfit Dixie all new members must complete our Fundamentals Course. The Fundamentals Course is Crossfit Dixie’s introductory program for new members. The only exception to not have to complete this course is if someone has previous Crossfit experience. The course consists of 6×45 minute coaching sessions over 2 weeks.

Fundamentals Course is an educational program designed to increase your knowledge and technique of the foundation movements of Crossfit. This will help your progression into the Crossfit classes. Regardless of your exercise experience, every athlete is required to attend The Fundamentals Course before participating in Crossfit Dixie workouts. By becoming proficient with these movements, not only will it allow you to integrate with our Crossfit Dixie family faster, but it will also ensure that you have a sound understanding of the movements so that your fitness progression will be faster. Once you understand the movements and do them well, we can then add weight and speed.

During the 6 sessions we will cover all the fundamental movements and exercises we use in Crossfit, as well as teach about proper nutrition and recovery. Our main goal with the Fundamentals Course is to help each client get comfortable in our gym and start them on their new journey to a healthier and happier lifestyle. This course allows us to work with each new member on a more personal basis to teach them the correct technique and form for the various movements you will perform each day. You will become familiar with how the class workouts are run, the set up of our gym and what we expect as your trainers. Here at Crossfit Dixie our coaches take pride in coaching and teaching our clients the movements and continually helping them progress and improve at Crossfit.

The classes run every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday night at 7:00pm. New members can start any one of these night, they just need to complete all 6 classes. If you are unable to attend the PM classes or want to go through the course in a 1 on 1 personal setting there are times available throughout the day where you can complete the Fundamentals Course. Fundamentals Course can be done individually or as a group.

Prices for the Fundamentals Program are as follows:

$75 – for 6 Group Classes

$100 – for 6 classes if not able to attend group classes on M, T, TH. Call to set up time for non group classes

$150 – for 6 classes in a 1 on 1 personal setting.
