Don’t forget that Wednesday nights will be the new Olympic Lifting session at 6:30 PM. This will be a practice time to get better at the Olympic lifts. We will not ramp up the weight. It is not a W.O.D. It is strictly to practice the movements and spend time that we don’t always get in class. Hope to see you all there!

I found this cool article about the trends that there are in the fitness world. There are certain places (I won’t name names) that feast on the new year and people’s resolutions to “get fit”. They offer membership at next to nothing and realize that a large majority of people will come for a week or so and lose the motivation. They lock them into a long term contract that is virtually impossible to get out of. This is how they make their money. CrossFit is growing and rapidly spreading all over the world. I think that the main reason is because it is no gimmick. You have to work for the results, and if you do, they will come fast and they are real. Ha. I wish we had it cause it was fast. Camera memory card ran out of space about half way through. He was pretty mad. He fired me as his camera man
